On sunday, September 25, 2010 was National dog show Intercanis Brno. There came 10 Thais. Monthy´s Brother could not attend because he had diseased leg and Monthy also didn´t participate this show , even if we have this show behind corner, but we decided to try our luck at the neighbors in Austria.

Due to history, it was predictable who will win and who will not and finally our guess was almost perfect.

On Sunday, September 26, 2010, we went with Monthy back to Tulln (Austria) to National Dog Show. Monty met new friends Grifones. The show was very fast, so we were glad that is behind us so soon. Monthy liked that judge and he wanted to play with him.

Today on September 30th, 2010 started in Celje (Slovenia) European Dog Show, which runs until Sunday, October 3rd, 2010. Thais will be on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010. There are 23 thais registered (14 males and 9 females). Judge will be Redlicki Miroslaw (PL). The show will be in the ring 39 Hall L1

With Euro dog show will be there Clubs dog show too. Club Show with Thai Ridgeback will be on friday, October 1st, 2010. There are registered 10 Thais (7 males and 3 females). Judge wsll be Borges Manuel Loureiro (P).  The show will be in the ring 6 Hall K

Of course, we will be on both shows, even when the chance of winning are small, but it's not about winning, but to participate. There will be  friend Blue Tan Ngern.

On Friday, 1st October 2010 was in Celje (Slovenia) Special Dog Show for the group V. There were registered 10 Thais (7 males and 3 females), but one couldn´t arrive. Judged by Mr Borges Manuel Loureiro (P). The show began with hour delay, so we ended around 9 PM.

On Saturday 2nd October 2010 was again in Celje (Slovenia) European Dog Show. There were registered 23 Thais (14 males and 9 females), one couldn´t arrive and with one breeders didn´t want to participate with reason that there will be not many TRDs and that there will be small compatition for them. So I don´t understand why they going to shows where there are less entered TRDs. Apparently for them in the Czech Republic and in Austria i a lot more competition, even when they claim the opposite.

On Sunday 10.10.2010 was International Dog Show in Ceske Budejovice. Registered were 11 TRDs, but Monthy´s brother Erwin brother couldn´t arrive.

On sunday we had a chance to take a risks and tried with Monthy if he will be able be at the ring with somebody else then with me. We had nothing to lose, because for this year we have fulfilled everything what we could. Monthy ran beautifully, he stood great, he let Mr. judge look at his teeth, but when judge wanted to check monthy´s testes, so Monthy startled, he lashed out, he began struggling himself and he didn´t let judge come closer after that .. Everything has to be at the 1st time and not always for first time is everything perfect. So Monty got just Good and for the first time his result was different than friendly dog:)

When Monthy left the ring, so he calmed down again and everything was OK again, and he went to take a few biscuits from the hands of a small Bilovecky (Baby).

Show was outside in the parking place, and we were not happy because was freezing in the morning, but fortunately weather cleared and warmed up a bit.

On weekend 16th-17th October 2010 was in the Komarom (HU) International Dog Show. Three Thais were registered. Czech Republic was represented by Monthy and Tan Ngern. The show was in Fort Monostor built in the 19th century. Wheather was cold, but we were glad that rain didn´t come, because it would be show in the mud.

Saturday's show takes place under standard rules of show, but Sunday´s show not. Judge judged by double standards. Unlike dogs from foreign coutry, who had to undergo multiple-running, a thorough check by touch of the entire body which took up quite a bit of time (teeth, neck, back, shoulders, chest, abdomen, tail, rear and front legs, and eventually the balls) show dog in the pose and test reactions to a squeaky toy, but dogs from Hungary had that show easier. They just came to judge, show some pose, judge within 2 seconds looked at the teeth and balls, then she said a few words with the exhibitors and without let dogs run, they walked away from the ring already with titles.

According to Mrs. judge must have any TRD dark brown colored eyes, whether black, red or blue, although the standard says that In blue´s, amber-coloured eyes are permitted, but according to her it is not incorrect (She probably use exception only for fawn TRD). It was realy strange. On that show was only one who had dark brown eyes and it was just Monthy. Well, each judge has own opinion and they have to find some argument , but even then it should judge all dogs same
