CACIB Komarom (HU) 16.-17.10.2010

On weekend 16th-17th October 2010 was in the Komarom (HU) International Dog Show. Three Thais were registered. Czech Republic was represented by Monthy and Tan Ngern. The show was in Fort Monostor built in the 19th century. Wheather was cold, but we were glad that rain didn´t come, because it would be show in the mud.

Saturday's show takes place under standard rules of show, but Sunday´s show not. Judge judged by double standards. Unlike dogs from foreign coutry, who had to undergo multiple-running, a thorough check by touch of the entire body which took up quite a bit of time (teeth, neck, back, shoulders, chest, abdomen, tail, rear and front legs, and eventually the balls) show dog in the pose and test reactions to a squeaky toy, but dogs from Hungary had that show easier. They just came to judge, show some pose, judge within 2 seconds looked at the teeth and balls, then she said a few words with the exhibitors and without let dogs run, they walked away from the ring already with titles.

According to Mrs. judge must have any TRD dark brown colored eyes, whether black, red or blue, although the standard says that In blue´s, amber-coloured eyes are permitted, but according to her it is not incorrect (She probably use exception only for fawn TRD). It was realy strange. On that show was only one who had dark brown eyes and it was just Monthy. Well, each judge has own opinion and they have to find some argument , but even then it should judge all dogs same
