4.THAI ridgeback DAY 2013

On the weekend 28.-30.6.2013 was 4th Thai Ridgeback meeting in canine area Zbraslav u Brna (CZ).

This year Meeting was aimed to help Thai Ridgebacks in shelters - We collected a total of  5180 CZK + a lots of gifts from participants of the event.

Meeting again began on Friday and that day already came 11 TRDs. From Friday already started Fighting game in forest, which included 30-55min. walk for dogs and their owners through the marked route in the forest, but also for the owners was set up test with 31 different questions of flora and fauna, which were sometimes hidden  and participants had to look for them. Questions surprised almost everyone, because it did not concern either question about TRD or dogs, and thus it was perhaps more interesting. During fighting game was also task to find 6 different hidden treasures (pearls, balloons and treats for dogs).
During the fighting game, who did not compete had chance better to know each other, some dog could run free around area and play together and after that we talk and talk till midnight about our thais and tried help to each other with training.

On Saturday to area arrived other participants. Totally participate 18 registered TRDs + 1 not registered veteran + 1 not TRD

On Saturday ofcourse continued the fighting game for those who have not already participated and because was nice weather, so many participats could enjoy walks and let their dogs played together again.
After lunch we started AGILITY, which was this time variegated with something new and it was with 3x different sections of courage. In the first track were the various papers, micas and aluminum foil (just rubbish that TRDs also dont like in the city). In the second track were different types of balls and in the third track pan and casserole dish with water, which TRDs had to run over. Agility was made up of the beam, 4 hurdles, slalom, circles and 2 tunnels + 3 sections of courage.

After agility was another activity and it was LABYRINTH, which was built downhill, so participant had to be careful not to slip. Some participants find immediately correct way and some was little lost.

After Agility and Labyrith started tasting the "best Cakes" and assessing of "the most original events´T-shirt."
For competition of best cakes were registered 6 different pies, cakes, honey cake and muffins. This time we did not assessed just taste of cake, but also assessed visual aspect.
For competition of the most original T-shirt were registered 7 different t-shirts. Actually 9 because two owners made 2 different T-shirts

Then came the announcement of the results of all competitions (Fighting game, Agility, Labyrinth, Best T-shirts, most delicious cakes and Prettiest cake)
After that we made RAFFLE, from which almost everyone got some gifts.

This year we also awarded special prize for oldest participant - Bokassa Thai Ol-A-Mi Moravia, which is already nearly 11 years old and even that high age he came to see us.

At the end of the day was already a free program, someone made walks surroundings, we made a campfire, roasted and then just talked and talked until really late into the night.

On Sunday early morning some TRDs left to attend international Dog Show INTERCANIS BRNO and those who stayed could still talk, let's their dogs play to each other and after lunch we said goodbye and the meeting ended.
